Our staff and catering manager can cater to any type of function including formal dinners, dances, training seminars, concerts or any other event your student organization is planning. Our catering service can meet all your needs whether you require finger foods, hors d’oeurves, or full service five course plated meal. With our student club menu, the offers are priced with students in mind. Our space features a state of the art sound system with an amazing lighting grid to meet your audio-visual desires.

About Our Executive Chef

Executive Chef Jason Goulart received his classical training at Humber College over a two year chef training and culinary management program. Upon completing his apprenticeship Jason has worked in all facets of the food service industry culminating with his Acceptance of the Underground’s executive chef position.

Red Seal certified Chef Goulart progressed through the fine dining industry before accepting a Sous Chef role at a prestigious Art Gallery of Ontario in the heart of downtown Ontario. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Anne Yarmowich, to further refine his culinary talents.

After flourishing as a Sous Chef, at five star restaurants in Toronto such as Globe and Earth in Rosedale, Executive Chef Jason Goulart expanded his repertoire, by becoming Sous Chef at Morrison Hall at University of Toronto. Being alumni at York University Executive Chef Jason Goulart returned to oversee all culinary affairs, of the Student Center’s The Underground.

Executive Chef Jason Goulart‘s drive for team building is very apparent in his character. This has helped him create a culinary team passionate about outstanding service, innovative ideas, and exceptional worldly cuisine.
